LAST DAY!!!

DAY 43--- 6/10

BACK TO HOMELAND TODAY!
Handed the room keys back to Mr.Phua. That moment I felt that time really flies. Unknowingly, I have spent 6 weeks in this room with 2 lovely girls...

VIVIEN & SUELYN

Days with them were amazing.
Washing clothes together,
Hanging clothes together,
Eating together,
Laughing and sharing gossips together,
-All under one room-

Its time to leave.

Bye Wuhan!
Thank you
You gave me an unforgetable experience and many precious memories.

On the way to airport almost everyone slept through.

My last time crossing the 长江大桥.

It was a sunny day today, nice weather.

We are here!

Hiccups along the journey home!

Group check-in showed that all 20 of us, the total lugguage weight was overweight by 120kg. In total we need to pay thousand++ rmb.

At Guangzhou airport, more problems occured.
Had to change from group check-in lugguage to individual check-in. My lugguage was 20.1kg. lucky me, if not i have to pay $80rmb for each overweight kg.
Then Chinxiang and some of the ECE students had a little problem with their lugguages but sunshine after rain!

We are on the plane to Singapore!
My sitting partners 23 a,b,c

Before i knew it, i'm in SINGAPORE!!!
Home sweet Home.

Day 42!!! (5/10)

Sunday is today.

SUNNY DAY!
Suppose to have a closing/graduation ceremony, but it was cancelled at the very last minute.
Last day in Wuhan and tomorrow we will be heading home.
mixed feelings now~

Last day of FINAL shopping!
Walmart here we come!

Room 219, xiang, steffi and sebas is the GANG of the day.
Still remember I came here once before and now today is going to be the last time.
All of us bought many local products and specialities as gifts to relatives and friends! Examples are chips, biscuits, wuchang fish, duck neck etc. that Singapore does not have.
This is one place where we will unleash our aunties and uncles power.
haha!

Happy Aunties & Uncle!

As i said, all supermarkets does not provide plastic bags now. You need to pay for the bags. This is really 1 big step to saving the Earth and this is also something that Singapore should learn from China.

The bags that we carry above are the shopping bags they selling. This is also seen selling in Singapore, but not many people will purchase. Many still uses the plastic bags given by the supermarkets.

Yes, everything starts from yourself.
Hence, all of us bought ourselves 1 shopping bag!!!
We are prepared to save the Earth!

Back to hostel to put all the food stuffs and out again to BUXING JIE!

"Bread Car" again.
Tonight shall be the last night here and how can we missed out the night market?
Yesterday was raining and finally today is sunny, thank god.
OTOT---Own Time Own Target
Everyone was splitted and agreed time was given.
I guess you all know who I'm always with.
vivien
HAHA!

Managed to finish the whole night market tonight and bought more CHEAP CHEAP stuffs.
Bye, Buxing jie!

Everyone had grown 'feeling' for this place.
Our most frequent hang out place/ chilling place.
Along the way to hail cab home, we joked, laughed and crapped.
I will miss the wide wide walking path!

PROGRAM DOES NOT END!
Packing of lugguage back in hostel.
Actually packing is really a very tedious task. After much squeezing and cracking my brains, I need Willis's rescue.
haha!
THANKS WILLIS!
For squeezing in my sleeping bag into ur lugguage.
When I'm done with my packing, its 3am!
Majority agreed to stayed up to celebrate, but in the end everyone end up packing!
Spend my last night on my bed.
I am really going to miss this bed and of course sharing one room with 2 pigs.
HAHAH!
jkjk.

Love room 219!
Im going to miss knocking neighbour's door.
Im going to miss having takeaway dinner with my neighbours.

Back to Hanzheng jie and a new place that is similar as Singapore Far East shopping centre.

Change of gang today!
Room 219 with Fiza, Amirah, Adeline and Ben.
"Bread car" as transport again!
I feel like I have been back to the same Hanzheng jie for umpteem times!
But Fiza and the rest have yet to visit this place.

So room 219 will be the tour guide of the day!
:)

Again, whole day shopping from 10.00-18.00

Back to Buxing jie after finished shopping at Hanzheng jie as the shopping centre that is similar as Far east is located there. After agreed on a time, we dispersed and shopped in pairs/triples.

House invitation from Li Xuan!
She invited all of us to her house for homecook dinner.
How nice and generous of her.

THANKS LI XUAN!

Her parents whipped up a total of 15 dishes/table. There are 2 tables in total!!! See how generous and warming her family are? Also, her dishes are all ones that local people loved and normally cooked them at home or you can find in restaurants.

In fact, they are less oily and more delicious!!!
Really have the feeling of HOME!
有家的味道!

FINISHING SOON!
Do not snatch food, people!
haha!
These are the good wife and future potential ones!!!
guys...
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!!
:)
BELOVED LI XUAN!!!
I'm really going to miss her!
:(
Me & Li Xuan's mum!
Like mother, like daughter.
They are both awesome people!
I have a mother in China!
:D
This girl lives UNDER THE SEA!
haha!
Li Xuan's teddy.
ok, I still can't grow up.
=P
CYCLOPS?!!Li Xuan's friend!
She is really friendly too.
fyi: She is coming to Singapore to study pretty soon!
Hope she likes our HOME!

Pirated 5566 with the host!

haha!

This dinner has made me learnt something in China.
A Chinese family is harmonious, warming and really generous towards their guests. Even though we are only students, they treated us as if we are Emperors of the ancient times. 15 homecooked dishes are not an easy task. This is something you rarely see in Singapore. Furthermore, they only eat after all of us had finished ours, despite we constantly asked them to joined us.
Really hardwork for Li Xuan's parents and grandparents!
When are are almost full, they are still cooking one more dish for us. Moreover, the dishes they whipped up are not cheap at all.
Eg. the famous Wuchang fish, the precious Pumpkin dish, where only southern part of china ate them as it is harder to find here, and other many many more!
Another thing that touched me is that Li Xuan's parents brewed lotus soup for us when they knew we all liked it very much from Li Xuan.
Their generosity and hostility touched me and are something I wish to learn.
To them, guests are important people and they really respect them.
Not leaving out, they are a really harmonious family.
Sudden home-sick.

LAST PHOTO OF THE DAY!

Andy!
you left me speechless.
HAHHAHA!

Day 38 (1/10)

Finally we are going on a SHOPPING SPREE today!
Happy National Day!
There is 1 week of holiday for the citizens and also whole week of national day DISCOUNTS!!!
How cannnnnnnnnnnn?
Who knows next year Singapore has 2 weeks of National day holiday?
:)

Out whole day again in a group of 5!
Chinxiang, Andy, Suelyn, Vivien and me.

Lunch at the very famous...

This place is at Buxing jie.
It has 2 levels. 1st floor sells all the side dishes whereas the 2nd floor sells their signature dish...
小笼包!!!
5 of us proceed to 2nd floor and we ordered the very famous 小笼包 with crab and prawn fillings. These are the popular ones. Also, we ordered the green bean soup and 豆皮, sort of glutinous rice, too.

1 word---DELICIOUS!!!!!!

But the price is not really cheap, reasonable I can say.
Well recommended, people!

Today's program: Buxing jie + Night Market.
Shopped the whole afternoon and proceed to night market at night of course!
Everywhere you go is 人山人海!
(people everywhere!)
You can see crowds and crowds of people all busy snatching cheap clothes!
Though today is shopping day and we are supposed to be super energetic, but the 5 of us are like walking zombies.

TOO TIRED~
This is due to almost everyone in the hostel are burning midnight oil to complete all the assignments and videos before going back home. Most of us did not really get anything from Buxing jie so Night Market was our hope!

Dinner first.
Had 盖饭 again.
yummy~
孩儿!
Children and Maid!

Night market was really huge!!!
Whatever you name, they have it. But due to time constraint, we only managed to finish one portion of it.
.
.
.
WE WILL BE BACK!
